We ask our Old Edmundian community to pray for Fr Peter Chappell who, battling illness for some time, has sadly recenty declined.
Fr Peter lives in Gozo, part of the Maltese archipelago, where he has resided since retiring and is best known on the island for celebrating Mass for the English speaking community.
Old Edmundian Fr Peter attended the College from 1954 to 1958 and was in Douglass House. He then went to the English College in Lisbon and was ordained approximately 6 years later. Fr Peter is a Priest who rose to the challenges of the priesthood, also serving as Prison Chaplain at one stage.
Please keep him in your prayers.
