Old Edmundian London Dinner 2026
What splendid surroundings for this year’s Old Edmundian Dinner in London. The Judge’s Court Room at Brown's Brasserie Covent Garden provided a beautiful setting for Old Edmundians to gather together once again.
There was plenty of chatter and laughter as guests reminisced about their time at St Edmund’s Prep and College — the Prep still fondly remembered by many present as St Hugh’s. Former teachers joked alongside past pupils and fellow members of staff, while alumni shared memories of their school days together.
As always, there was a wonderful sense of bonhomie among the guests. The Headmaster, Matthew Mostyn, spoke warmly about the enduring Edmundian spirit, reminding everyone that once an Edmundian, always an Edmundian, wherever in the world they may live.
The evening concluded with the school’s motto: Avita Pro Fide. (For the faith of our fathers).
