We are extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Paddy Gallagher (1930-2021), OE and member of Talbot House from 1942-1947. 

Paddy was a member of the Edmundian Association for nearly 74 years.

Paddy wrote to our President Emeritus and Archivist, David Kay, sharing details of his life, below: 

• 1956 – BAgSc (Hons), University College Dublin
• 1992 – MSc, North Caroline University
• 1956-1977 – Scientific Officer, Agriculture Institute, Dublin
• 1978-1995 – Diplomatic counsellor, EU Delegations in Egypt, Lesotho, Malawi and Rwanda
