It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Maidment on 26th April 2020.

In 1969 Bob came to work at St Edmund’s teaching History and Mathematics in St Hugh’s and coaching Rugby and Athletics throughout the College before becoming a highly respected Housemaster at St Hugh's. 


Whilst at the school Bob met his future wife, Katie King, the daughter of Joan and Hal King (the first lay Headmaster of the College), and they were duly married in the local parish church in 1972.
