It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adrian Gillham, Junior House & Talbot 1960-1965

Adrian was Head Boy at the College in 1965, and was also Talbot House Captain. In addition he was 1st XV Captain and a 1st XI cricketer.
He was a huge part of the Edmundian community, both during his time here, and in later years.

After leaving the College, Adrian studied medicine at Jesus College, Cambridge and St Mary's Hospital, Paddington before becoming one of the founding GP members of the Parkbury House practice in St Albans. He retired from general practice at the age of 38 to join the Army where he re-trained as a Psychiatrist and served with distinction in the first Gulf War.
He retired from the Army with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and became Medical Director of five hospitals in the Priory Group before fully retiring and living happily with his wife, Emma, in Hampshire.

Adrian leaves behind his wife Emma, four children and six grandchildren.

May he rest in peace, God Bless.
