St Edmund's College Careers Officer

Emily Thomas, St Edmund's College's Careers Officer, is a qualified Career Coach with extensive business experience, dedicated to guiding students towards their future aspirations. Available for individual student appointments on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, Emily plays a pivotal role in preparing students for life beyond St Ed's.

Emily is actively working to enhance career connections, particularly by engaging with the college's alumni community. Each year, St Edmund’s hosts a variety of career-focused events, including careers fairs, guest speeches, and smaller sessions tailored specifically for Rhetoric students. These initiatives provide invaluable insights into different career pathways and allow students to interact with professionals who share their expertise and advice.

Additionally, Emily is developing mentoring opportunities for Rhetoric students, connecting them with alumni and other industry professionals for personalised guidance and support.
