Chris Groves-Kirkby (Challoner 1957-60) writes:
It is with sadness that I write to inform you of the death, on 4 January 2024 at Melrose, Roxburghshire, Scotland, of my brother Peter Lawrence Kirkby (Challoner 1960-63), after a brief illness and fortified by the Rites of the Church.
Peter was born in Worthing, Sussex, in 1946, and attended the College between 1960 and 1963. He represented the College in Athletics, and was a bugler in the CCF Band. In later life Pete enjoyed both skiing and rock-climbing.
Pete's funeral will take place at St Joseph's Church, Peebles, Peeblesshire at 12:30 on Tuesday January 23rd 2024, followed by interment at St. Andrew's Cemetery, Peebles.
May he rest in peace.
