John Murphy RIP
John Murphy, a former Housemaster of Challoner (1971-80), died recently at the age of 77. John came to St Edmund's in 1969 to found the new Geography Department. He was also 1st XV Rugby coach.
He left to become Assistant Headmaster at a prep school in Somerset, and later became the Headmaster of a similar school in Hampshire.
The funeral will be held on January 26th, 2pm at New Milton Cremetorium BH25 5FH. Wake details are TBC.
